150 Personnel Ready to Secure New Year in East Jakarta

Around 150 joint personnel under East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. are ready to be spread in congestion-prone spots and crowded places on New Year's Eve.

They are alerted in congestion-prone areas, churches, markets, terminals, and so on

East Jakarta Sub-dept.'s Supervision and Control Section Head, Slamet Dahlan stated that those personnel are from sub-dept. and 10 sub-district executing units.

"They are alerted in congestion-prone areas, churches, markets, terminals, and so on. Especially on New Year's Eve, most personnel are stationed at TMII," he told, Wednesday (26/12).

His side also plans to prepare 10 tow cars, 10 operational cars, and 30 patrol bikes at 15 congestion-prone points. They are in Cililitan intersection, Jalan Pemuda intersection - Jalan Pramuka, Garuda intersection, and Rebo Market intersection.

"Especially for TMII area, if the capacity is overloaded, we'll divert vehicles not to produce traffic," he stated.
